Scholarship

Each year, Friends of Camp Concord (FOCC) provides financial support to send youth and families from a wide variety of low income or underserved populations to Camp Concord.

Friends of Camp Concord fulfills its mission by working closely with the City of Concord and Camp Concord. FOCC sends hundreds of kids from all over the Bay Area to camp as well as makes improvements to Camp Concord.

FOCC currently partners with Mount Diablo C.A.R.E.S. After School Program, CASA of Contra Costa County, First Tee Contra Costa, and Ygnacio Valley High School Special Education to give kids a chance to experience camp and all it has to offer.

Friends of Camp Concord accepts scholarship applications for individual campers to attend the Youth Camp week. The application submission dates are January 3rd to the end of business on February 14th. Applicants are reviewed by the scholarship committee with status notification by March 11th.

When submitting your scholarship application please include the following:

  • Completed scholarship application
  • Copy of approved documentation 
  • If submitting a video, follow the instructions on the application and upload the video prior to submitting application.

Due to the volume of applications received, if your submission packet is not complete, it will not be considered by the scholarship committee.
